Do you think I can become a famous actress?

by admin on March 21, 2010

It’s always been my biggest dream to be a famous actress. When I was little I would go up to my parents and say “I want to be like that person” and would point to the TV.
If I liked a movie, I just HAD to memorise all the lines to it. My parents were amazed that I could memorise that many words at just 5 years old.
When I was about 3 years old, up until I was about 7, I would make up plays and perform them to my whole family. I had to make sure that Mum was recording the whole thing on camera too.
When I was 5, my parents decided that I needed to do some sort of performing arts, so they enrolled me in the CPCA (Children’s Performing Company of Australia) I loved it! I got to sing, dance and act.
I quit when I was 10, because I moved schools, but soon after joined Brightstars, a Performing Arts Academy. They specialized in modelling, singing, dancing and acting all in different classes. I joined the acting class, and loved it! I’ve been doing it ever since, and my teacher thinks that I’m an excellent actress. I can memorise a whole script in just one week, and memorise one scene in just 20 minutes.
I’ve only done 3 professional commercials, but I enjoyed the experience so much, and would like to do so much more.
My whole family loves arts aswell. My mum was a professional ballet dancer, and is now a dance teacher, my dad has recently been on a TV show, my sister is a professional dancer, and also does modelling, my brother wants to be a director for movies, and he is also in a band (he plays the drums) and me… well you probably know by now. I also do dancing.. contemporary, jazz, lyrical and ballet.

So, do you think I can become a famous actress one day?

P.S: Please don’t think that I’m just a try hard wannabe that just wants to get famous, because I’m not that sort of person. Of course, fame is a big bonus, but for me, I just want to act and make my audience happy… or sad, depending on the play!
oh, and sorry if this was too long!

**Please no rude comments!
**I also have a couple of connections.

i understand it one thing to be annoyed by the character someone plays on tv but keep in mind those persona’s are fake and shouldn’t be mistake for the real personality, i personally find Vickie’s Tv persona entertaining but then again i prefer heel general managers they keep things interesting. but it really is kind of f u c ke d up when ppl here say oh vickie should be fired, and she’s sooo ugly, and she needs to die. why do some ppl take a tv persona that seriously?

Vickie’s a sweet lady in real life, and it takes a really nasty person to hate someone based off of the character they play on TV, especially when she’s trying to support her and Eddie’s children financially.she’s doing her job and saying/doing whats in the script for her to do, so why hate her in real life because of that

In the reading Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl, why did the author believe slaves were not always happy at Christmas?

Slaves had to complete extra work for their masters during the holidays.
Slave children were afraid of the symbols of the holidays.
Hiring day was near, and slaves might be sold and separated from family members.
Slave rations were cut during the holidays to provide extra food for the main house.

In the reading, em>Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl how was Christmas special to the slave?

The master would let them go free.
They were allowed to go to church.
Children were allowed to play games.
Christmas was a day of feasting.

Hey, I’m fifteen, and I’ve been trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up since I was… oh five maybe. I’ve gone from Ice skater to dancer to musical theater performer and now I have this. I’m sure it’s what I want to do with the rest of life. I want to be a Naturopathic adolescent and child psychologist dealing in behavioral health and learning disorders. I don’t know yet if I’ll ad on art and music therapy. I will be focusing on trying to heal with alternative medicines, instead of referring to psychiatrists and chemicals and unnatural medicines with strange side-effects. I’ll be doing things like rei-ki (sp?) and acupuncture, and lott of other eastern healing techniques along with standard talk and play therapy with families and just teens and children.

My problem is, in the place that I live, if I open up this practice I’ll be drowned in holy water and considered a witch or voodoo person. There is absolutely no acceptance of that kind of healing around here. (small town hicks) I want to know if you think it would work. Where would it work? I know it might work in the big cities, but I’d like to stay closer to my home in mid america, but any thing goes right now I’m only a sophomore!

Thanks for your help,
silent

My son is 11 months and his birthday is 1/13, so he is going to be in toy overload. Just curious to know what other people do with the numerous toys received for Christmas and Birthdays.
